Description
SRAM Cassette XG-1299 Eagle 10-50t Rainbow
The X-DOME™ Eagle™ cassette has no peer. It buried the last dangling shred of an argument in favor of a mountain bike front derailleur. And now, it’s 10-50 tooth gear range has open the door for an entire ecosystem of Eagle™ groupsets. Designed for use with proven, reliable XD™ driver body, this 12-speed, cassette offers an optimal 500-percent gear range. In independent tests the X-Dome™ architecture is proven to yield the strongest cassette on the market. Shifting characteristics improve both inboard and outboard shifting, as well as chain retention. This cassette matches up perfectly in performance and color to XX1 Eagle AXS™ enabled componentry.
TECHNOLOGY
- X-DOME
X-DOME technology creates an incredibly lightweight, precise and strong cassette. The open design aids in mud clearance, giving you cleaner shifting performance and longer component life.
- EAGLE
Eagle technology represents 1x drivetrain technology. Eagle is a lighter, simpler, more durable, and easier to use drivetrain. Eagle features 1x components, engineered for even greater durability and performance while maintaining a significant weight advantage over other drivetrain solutions. Eagle technology also provides an expanded gear range of 520%, which is equal to 2 x 11 drivetrains.
- X-GLIDE 2
X-GLIDE 2 is next generation of SRAM X-GLIDE technology optimized for the EAGLE 12-speed cassette. It provides quick, precise, power-on shifting performance throughout the gear range, and increases chain retention on larger cogs.
- XD DRIVER BODY
XD is a cassette driver body design that allows the use of a 10-tooth small cog and provides an improved interface with the cassette.
